Muere Patrick Swayze

Patrick Swayze died today of Pancreatic Cancer. Although most people knew he was ill, it still seemed to come as a shock to some as they began to gather at Patrick's Star in Hollywood California. I interviewed a few people who were only finding out when seeing the memorial, others had come to light candles, places flowers or say a little prayer.

At only 57 years old Patrick left his mark on the entertainment industry and the hearts of many. Best known for the unexpected hit Dirty Dancing, Blockbuster Ghosts as well The Outsiders. He was an approachable actor who keep his feet grounded in reality on the ups and downs of being an actor, unless gliding on the dance floor. His mother Patsy Helen was a choreographer, so he was born to move and move he did with agility, grace and strength. He had the sex appeal of a star as well as the ruggedness of a cowboy.

Our hearts go out to his family, friends and wife of over 30 years Lisa Niemi.
